The trumpet player Clora Bryant (1927-1019) leaves the Black-owned Dunbar Hotel, in the 1930s and 1940s the only major Los Angeles hotel that welcomed African Americans. The work is from my series "Los Angeles Blue Notes: A Photo-Narrative History of L.A. Jazz."
