The term chaos theory has to do with the thinking that small actions can cause large, unpredictable consequences. My thoughts in this painting was to focus on the natural environment. A small change, such as the extinction of an animal or plant for example, has the potential to have major and catastrophic repercussions for the entire ecosystem.
